Bicycle Aurora
Our Mission

To promote the implementation of bicycle trails in Aurora according to the Aurora Bike Plan.

To study and recommend future improvements to the Aurora Bike Plan.
To lobby public and private groups to adopt and implement the Aurora Bike Plan.
To rally Aurora citizens and groups to promote the Aurora Bike Plan.
To advise Aurora City Government on ways to make bicycle trails in Aurora safer and friendlier for all citizens.
To introduce citizens to the existing and planned Aurora bicycle trail system.

Club meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month (except December) at 6:30 PM in the 4th Floor Eagle Room,  Aurora Municipal Center, 15151 E. Alameda Pkwy -- Aurora, CO 80012. All bicycle riders and enthusiasts are welcome. Call 303-699-9260 for more information. 

2015 Ride Schedule

ThursdayMay 21st6pm, Arapahoe Bridge - 16 miles

Join us for an early evening ride through Cherry Creek State Park to the almost-finished trail connection under Arapahoe Road.  Afterwards Joy and Gordon Mckennon invite you to enjoy refreshments at Peak to Peak Tap Room with $1 off your first pint.  Click to visit the Peak to Peak website.

   Saturday, May 23rd, 9am, Colorado Freedom Memorial - 16 miles

Celebrate Memorial weekend with a ride to the Colorado Freedom Memorial.  Most of this ride is on the High Line Canal trail and rest facilities are available at the Memorial.

Saturday, May 30th, 9am, Three Creeks - 16 miles

This ride travels along Toll Gate and Unnamed Creek then ventures east to Coal Creek - site of the future Triple Creek Trail.  Includes one "Flat 14er" climb on the Conservatory West trail.

And don't forget Wednesday, June 24th is Bike to Work Day!  Stop at the Bicycle Aurora/Treads location for refreshments from 6:30 to 9:30 am.  Hope to see you there!
